Nidhogg is a serpent or dragon in Norse Mythology that eats the roots of the Yggdrasil
By the roots that twist
By sinew and bone
By all that is sacred
Twisted and grown
I swear to the gods
I swear on all I own
I will pull through again
I will survive this storm
I am the wind that rustles the leaves
I am the squirrel that passes on these things
From nidhogg to nilfenhiem
On Odin's beard
I swear that your venom curses both you and your wyrd
By verdandis hands
Weaving worn
By Skuld and her waters
By Urd it be known,
I see the the falling and rising of tone
May your venom rebound
May you reap what you've sewn.
May you experience all you put out,
May you take inspiration from kinder things
After all real wisdom isn't found
It's a gift from the gods, no need to shout.
No peice of paper can set you apart.
If you don't hold your tribe highest in regard.
An may you learn a lesson
About humility dear.
For if you are not a true vessel.
The gods wrath you must fear
