We are just 15 days away from the highly anticipated Stranger Skies exhibition at Burslem Park Lodge, Stoke-on-Trent. In the lead-up to the event, Marshall’s Marking are excited to reveal the successful applicants from our recent Open Call. The call is now closed, and those who have been selected have been notified.
We have curated an exceptional lineup of artists, both local and international, to showcase their works at this event. We eagerly await the public's attendance to meet the artists and experience the launch of Stranger Skies on March 20th.
The opening evening will feature a diverse array of performances, including spoken word, poetry, and music, alongside the Artists Gallery. This is an event not to be missed. The exhibition will be open to the public for two weeks following the opening night, with an additional two weeks available for private viewings by arrangement.
Our first featured artist, who will be exhibiting her work alongside our local artist and curator Sarah Marshall, is Evie-Mae Mitchell.
Evie-Mae is an emerging artist from Stoke-on-Trent, demonstrating remarkable talent at a young age. Her mixed media pieces are both eye-catching and evocative, perfectly capturing the essence of the event's theme. At the Stranger Skies exhibition, we will be showcasing two of her works: ‘Space Aurora’ and ‘Ocean Aurora’
